Our mission
We are harnessing capital and expertise to accelerate the energy transition. As a specialist renewables manager, we believe there is a huge opportunity to unblock investment in renewables by building a bespoke portfolio across multiple renewable assets, technologies, and locations to create better outcomes for our investors.
Why Octopus Australia?
Since being established in 2018, Octopus Australia has experienced significant growth, both through the expansion of our team and projects. We are much more than just an investment manager. Our team of over 55 across Sydney and Melbourne, have a unique blend of skills and expertise covering all facets of the renewable energy market including; investment, development, energy markets, grid and engineering, asset management, and community engagement.
We manage over A$1.1bn* in assets across wind, solar, storage and hybrid technology projects and have a development portfolio of projects totalling A$10.2bn* in value. Our operational assets include Darlington Point solar farm with over 1 million solar panels, and our Dulacca wind farm with 43 wind turbines. (*as at November 2024.)

These specialist insights ensure the assets within our portfolio work together seamlessly and enable us to develop innovative products that look like the future of energy in Australia.
