Fulham Solar Farm & Battery

An innovative hybrid solar and battery storage project which will enhance local grid reliability while supporting Victoria’s clean energy transition.

Fulham Solar Farm and Battery is a 80MW solar farm and 128MWh DC-coupled battery located in Fulham, Victoria. The project has a power purchase agreement from the Victorian State Government awarded under the Second Victorian Renewable Energy Target Auction and is expected to be fully operational in 2027. Once operational it will generate enough energy to power 39,000 homes.

Australian Renewable Energy Market Update – July 2025

The Australian Federal Government has announced a 25% expansion of its flagship Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS), raising the capacity underwriting target from 32GW to 40GW by 2030. The additional 8GW comprises 5GW of dispatchable storage – mostly large-scale batteries – and 3GW of new solar and wind generation, equivalent to powering an extra million households.
