Merino Wind Farm and Battery

A proposed 1GW wind farm and battery North of Deniliquin, New South Wales.

Located adjacent to our 400MW Saltbush Wind Farm currently in development, Merino Wind Farm and Battery will be capable of generating enough electricity to power up to 800,000 homes in NSW once operational. The 28,000-hectare site has exposure to high 8.0-8.5m/s wind speeds, making it an ideal site for the wind farm which will be supported by battery capacity to create firmed renewable energy generation for the area.
